Nicole Van Ranst joins Agio Legal

Today, Agio Legal and Newton Law announce that they will join forces from now on. Nicole Van Ranst, together with her colleagues Amber Meiresonne and Alessandra Oliver, will reinforce the Mergers & Acquisitions department of Agio Legal. After earlier mergers with Ligé and Tilleman Van Hoogenbemt, and with the arrival of Steven De Schrijver and his team, Agio Legal continues to build on its entrepreneurial growth trajectory.

Nicole Van Ranst (59) started her career at the Brussels bar in 1985 at Lafili & Van Crombrugghe. In 1995 she co-founded Marx Van Ranst Vermeersch & Partners. In recent years she has been active as a Managing Partner at Newton Law. Van Ranst specializes in mergers and acquisitions, both home and abroad. She has built up a solid reputation in sectors such as sports, advertising & entertainment, technology. But also logistics and retail real estate, transport, food and other sectors. She often works with renowned foreign law, auditor and accountancy firms.

In addition, Van Ranst advises both multinational companies and SMEs and sits on various boards of directors and advisors. She followed courses at INSEAD (Fontaineblau and Singapore) and Antwerp Management School. She is a licensed advisor to family businesses and a Guberna certified director. As an Officer of the International Bar Association (IBA), she has organized top seminars on the latest developments in M&A and transition and exits in family businesses in Miami, Paris and Amsterdam. She was also President of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and President of the Bureau of Legal Aid at the Brussels Bar.

Together with Van Ranst, her colleagues from Newton Law, Amber Meiresonne and Alessandra Oliver, also join the Agio Legal team.
