Charlotte Persoons

Charlotte Persoons has been a lawyer since 2019 and started her career at a law firm in Mechelen, specialising in public procurement, among other things. In 2024, she joined Agio Legal. She specialises in public procurement, PPP, environmental law, expropriation law, concessions, cooperation and privatisation at local level, municipal law, OCMW law and civil servants law.

Besides advising on the aforementioned matters, Charlotte also conducts proceedings before all courts of law, Council of State, Council for Permit Disputes and the Constitutional Court. She also drafts notices of objection and/or appeal in the context of administrative procedures relating to environmental permits. She also assists companies, public authorities and individuals during public procurement procedures/concessions/market consultations, when applying for environmental permits and during negotiations.

Charlotte Persoons graduated as Master of Laws from the Catholic University of Leuven in 2019. During this programme, she immersed herself in international and European law and public and administrative law. During her studies, she provided legal advice to start-ups in the framework of “IusStart”.
