In the presence of HE Mr Bruno Jans, Consul General at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Belgium in Shanghai, Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) and the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China, Agio founder Philippe van Den Broecke en de local Agio team officially opened the new Novas Innovation Center in Wuxi.
Located near Shanghai and home to some of the world’s leading companies in biomed, medtech, pharma, semiconductors and automotive, Wuxi hosts more than 7,000 foreign-invested companies and more than 110 Fortune 500 companies. Agio has signed a strategic partnership with Wuxi, which gives preferential treatment and benefits for foreign companies to set up in Wuxi.
The Novas Innovation Center helps to expand business for foreign companies in China. The Center offers market research, business development, marketing and sales services to foreign companies who want to enter the Chinese market, without immediately setting up an entity in China. As such this is a cost-effective, results-driven approach for companies to get a feeling for the market, define a market strategy, and start business expansion.
