After graduating from high school, Steven continued his academic career at the University of Antwerp, where he earned a master’s degree in Applied Economic Sciences with a specialization in Finance and Accountancy. He continued his education by obtaining the title of Certified Company Auditor at the Institute of Company Auditors (IBR) from 1999 to 2001. He also completed a Masters in Corporate Taxation at UAAMS between 2001 and 2002 and completed his training at an international audit firm. Steven is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
In 2003, Steven founded Vyvey, Vyvey & Co, Corporate Auditors and Vyvey & Co, Accountants, where he has since served as Managing Partner. At Vyvey & Co, he is responsible for auditing and accounting, and has been instrumental in the growth and development of the firm.
His work includes the audit and certification of single and consolidated financial statements, both within an EU context and based on reporting requirements by other EU member states.
Steven is fluent in Dutch, English, Spanish and has a good command of French and German. In addition to his technical skills, he is an experienced trainer and consultant on best practices for both non-profit and for-profit organizations, with a strong focus on internal control procedures.
Steven Vyvey is a dedicated professional with more than 20 years of experience in finance, and he continues to make significant contributions to his field through his work at Vyvey & Co auditors and his ongoing involvement in the broader professional community.
He joined the firm in 2023 and has been the foundation of AGIO Finance ever since.
